What's in Your Water?

In Minnesota, the chemicals added to our city water are Chlorine, Ammonia, Ferric Chloride, and poly/orthophosphate. All of these chemicals have been deemed safe with reasonable consumption. What happens, though, when our bodies aren't functioning at 100% and we aren't able to process the chemicals? When we drink half our body weight in ounces of water (as is recommended) that is full of chemicals, we may start seeing signs of toxin build up. Symptoms may include asthma, high or low blood pressure, circulatory issues, organ stagnation, and allergies.

TO BE CLEAR, I am grateful that we have water that isn't full of bacteria and disease (which is the reason for many of these chemicals).

I do, however, want to be sure that I am hydrating with water that is HEALING for my body. There are many kinds of water, and every body will probably have a preference: distilled, spring, well, RO, purified, filtered, or tap.

What kind of water do you drink?

Emotional Balance

Another piece to consider when we look at health, is your emotional balance.  Emotions play a significant role in health. Stress and fear can affect organs just as much as toxins or parasites. When our emotions are out of balance, so is our body.

My close friends know that if we are talking about a problem area in life, "There is a flower for that" is my go-to phrase.

Bach flower remedies are a homeopathic that help balance the ups and downs of life. Whether it be confidence, fear, anxiety, intolerance, impatience, or procrastination; there is a flower for that!

I personally see its effects after one day of taking the homeopathic, and I will tell you, it has improved my mental health abundantly.

I use it for my children and for my pets. Do you find that you struggle to find emotional peace? Let's find your Bach flower!

Iridology

One of my favorite subjects in school was iridology: learning about the iris and how all the lines and pigments have significance.  They say the eye is the door to our soul, but actually it's the door to our history and our health potential.  A close view of the iris provides a picture of areas of genetic tendencies and potential health, as well as possible health history.  It truly is fascinating how every iris is so different and tells a story.

At an appointment, we will take a close up picture of your iris, and I'll walk you through the markers we can see.  This is not a diagnostic tool, but a tool we use to prevent possible health concerns.
